Ages 1-3 with grownups , 45 minutes
Join Bloom Performing Arts in this musical movement class for children ages 1-3 and their grownups! Through creative movement, dance, song, interactive storytelling, puppetry, and musical instrument exploration, parents and children can enjoy a rich arts-based learning experience together. Children will be introduced to the joy of music and movement while strengthening their imagination and bolstering language development. Join BPA and let's get moving and grooving!
This welcoming experience within the Manny Cantor Center offers all families support while providing guidance for the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of raising a family from the very beginning.

Pre-K-K , 45 minutes -1.5 hours
5, 6, 7, 8! Join Bloom Performing Arts in this make-believe creative movement class. Through creative dramatic play, miming, animal character work, and beginning basics dance, your child will stretch their muscles while strengthening their imagination. Students will experience the magic of movement through improvisational games, beginning dance lessons, creative movement, and storytelling activities. The class culminates in a final dance performance for family and friends. We can't wait to move and groove with you this semester!
3, 2, 1, Action! In Bloom Performing Arts’ most popular class, students will experience the joy, wonder, and magic of storytelling through performance. Through the exploration of improvisational games, beginning debate exercises, acting lessons, and storytelling activities, your student will be ready to engage any audience with bravery and confidence. The class culminates in a filmed final performance of an original Bloom Performing Arts script. The performance will be edited by a professional film editor and made into a movie, making a memory that'll last a lifetime! Get ready to groove! Join us for a fun, high-energy jazz dance class where young dancers will explore the exciting world of jazz through rhythm, creative movement, and expressive dance. Students will learn foundational jazz steps like kicks, leaps, turns, and isolations—all while building coordination, strength, flexibility, and balance. The class will also include improvisation, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography combinations, helping dancers develop their technique and style. The session culminates in a final performance where family and friends can enjoy the students' hard work and creativity. No previous dance experience required—just bring your energy and get ready for all that jazz!

Step into a whimsical world of ballet with Bloom Performing Arts, where every plié and tendu feels like a touch of magic! In this playful class, young dancers will learn the foundations of ballet—posture, balance, rhythm, and the first positions—while exploring movement through music and imagination. With storytelling, graceful games, and creative exercises, students discover the beauty of ballet technique in a joyful, age-appropriate way. The semester concludes with a special performance, where dancers share their sparkle on stage with family and friends.

Join Bloom Performing Arts for our introductory Speech and Debate class! This fun and educational course blends public speaking, debate, performance, and improvisation. Each week, students will learn the fundamentals of speech and debate, including reasoning, refutation, and speechwriting. Through a variety of engaging games and thought-provoking activities, students will strengthen their critical thinking and public speaking skills. Join Bloom Performing Arts founder and SAG actress Ashley Morgan Bloom for her signature beginner acting class! This exciting introductory course covers monologues, creative writing, improvisation, and acting for both film and theatre. Each semester, students will perform in an original Bloom Performing Arts play inspired by a popular fairytale. They’ll have the unique opportunity to step into both acting and directing roles by filming their final performance. A professional film editor will transform their work into a full movie production! Welcome to Filmmaking 101! Join Bloom Performing Arts in this exciting introductory course where students embark on a full production journey — from storytelling and performance techniques to filming and directing. Throughout the semester, students will step into the roles of screenwriters, directors, and actors. The class will begin by collaboratively writing a short film, and by the end of the course, students will bring their story to life through filming, performing, and directing. As a special bonus, students will meet with the professional film editor who edits their movie, gaining insight into the filmmaking industry. Students will dive into singing, movement, and character development in this exciting scene-into-song course. Through theatrical dramatizations and song interpretations, they will build their skills and confidence, culminating in a final musical showcase for family and friends. By the end of the semester, students will have strengthened their performance abilities, awakened their creativity, developed their unique artistic voices, and be ready to take on the middle school musical. Let’s get laughing with Bloom Performing Arts’ advanced comedy writing class. Students will learn the ins and outs of writing comedy scripts, from stand-up to sketches to films. Students will discover what makes funny things funny as they are challenged to write, act, and direct in one class! The semester culminates in a filmed and live event entitled SDL: School Day Live, inspired by the comedy classic TV Show SNL! Join Bloom Performing Arts and get ready for a semester of laughter.

Join Bloom Performing Arts Founder and SAG actress Ashley Morgan Bloom in Bloom Performing Arts' signature show class. This performing course will introduce students to stage acting and include auditions and rehearsals of a play that will be performed for family and friends at the end of the semester. Students will strengthen their actor toolbox, learn beginning basics acting techniques, and work together as an ensemble on stage, bringing extraordinary characters and stories to life.
