Welcome to Filmmaking 101! Join Bloom Performing Arts in this exciting introductory course where students embark on a full production journey — from storytelling and performance techniques to filming and directing. Throughout the semester, students will step into the roles of screenwriters, directors, and actors. The class will begin by collaboratively writing a short film, and by the end of the course, students will bring their story to life through filming, performing, and directing. As a special bonus, students will meet with the professional film editor who edits their movie, gaining insight into the filmmaking industry.
