Imagine: Storytelling Classics
Grades Pre-K - 2 | 1 - 1.5 hours
Step into the world of beloved children’s literature in this imaginative performance class!
In Imagine: Storytelling Classics, students explore timeless favorites like Caps for Sale, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, Interrupting Chicken, and more. Through engaging lessons in acting, improvisation, and creative movement, children build stage presence, confidence, and ensemble skills while bringing cherished stories to life.
Each class includes an interactive read-aloud storytime, covering six classic tales from start to finish over the course of the semester. As with our original Storytelling class, the semester culminates in a final filmed performance starring your young performers.
This year’s original Bloom mash-up script, Where the Wild Things Meet the Gruffalo, reimagines two iconic tales in one joyful forest adventure. Families receive a professionally edited movie keepsake celebrating their child’s creativity and growth.
Join us and let the wild rumpus begin!
